Refurbishment of painting equipment in chassis workshop is over, these works have been performed as part of technical upgrade program for 2017.  Upgrade of painting line, planning and building works have been made by the company’s support departments. Works performed made it possible to get rid of  Soviet-style anachronism, when arm of line for painting axles was located outdoors in accordance with manufacturing method, creating uncomfortable working environment for workers in this area. Now axles for painting are removed and installed directly in the workshop.

It is very important that new section of line was coupled during holiday and off days to avoid halting painting line. Start and setup of the line was quick and trouble-free. Запуск и отладка конвейерной трассы прошли очень быстро, без проблем. Delivery time after loading for panting was shortened by half an hour.

It should be recalled that refurbishment of painting facilities started last year and the automobile plant devoted over UAH 0,5m to do it. This year, the company spent over UAH 1m to complete works. What is more, UAH 200 000 were saved due to use of components of lines located in other workshops that are not used in production run and put in prolonged storage.  

 No cost advantage is expected from investment in refurbishment of painting facilities. It is rather social program because painting done indoors will make it possible to improve working environment for personnel of painting shop. Te buyer will win too, because new method will make more efficient detection of minor painting defects and their correction, resulting in better paint quality of chassis units and parts.
