It is a good tradition for KrAZ to congratulate first-from schoolchildren on the Knowledge Day, not only by cordial words but also by presenting good, and what is more, necessary for studies gifts.
Today, September 1, head officers of Kremenchug Automobile Plant gave the gift of school supplies to first-form schoolchildren of schools No 8 and 31 in Molodyozhniy district on behalf of Kremenchug people’s deputy. In his welcome address at school assembly on occasion of the Knowledge Day General Director of Kremenchug Automobile Plant Roman Chernyak wished successful studies to new children and said that the automobile plant and people’s deputy Konstantin Zhevago took care that new schoolchildren and their parents were focused on studies and not on school supplies required for studies. He pointed to a big gift bag waiting for new schoolchildren in classrooms, emphasizing that it contains set of copybooks with KrAZ trucks built in their home town. Moreover, he wished to school leavers to take standardized eternal testing, acquire a profession and remain patriots of the country and town – come to work at KrAZ.
After school assembly the General Director gave to headmistress a set of toys (KrAZ trucks) for first-from schoolchildren and day planners for teachers. In her turn, the headmistress of school No 8 Valentina Shargorodskaya said: “I am very grateful because few people understand that school is a start for any person, first grade in the life and such people do not forget us and come with presents. It may seem to you it is a small gift, all these copybooks, ball-point pens, pencils, paints, felt pens, drawing books, color paper and card, scissors, modeling clay, etc. But 75 sets for our children and their parents is a useful aid in tough time. We thank Konstantin Zhevago for stationery sets every year and multimedia training tools presented in May of the previous academic year at Farewell Bell. It is obvious that teaching in the old way in information age is impossible and these multimedia training tools enable us to teach on top of trends.”
The headmistress thanked Roman Chernyak for finding time to attend this event important for first-form schoolchildren and school despite his tight schedule. She thanked also for toys to be given to extended daycare groups to six years old children.
This day, KrAZ representatives congratulated children on the Knowledge Day in other educational institutions of Molodyozhniy district: school No 28 and higher vocational school No 7.
