KrAZ has been visited by veterans once again, this time this was a group of former employees of Chief Manufacturing Engineer Department. The meeting took place on the 15th of September on the eve of the day of machine Builder.  

Elderly people are always willing to meet, glad to communicate with their friends and reminisce. Members of the company’s Council of Veterans of War and Labor every time try to mix up these traditional events adding an interesting entertainment program.

The program of the visit was eventful: visit to the Park of Peace, Museum of the company’s History, proving ground, Training Centre. The visit started with solemn procession towards administration building. For some pensioners this meeting was the first one after retirement, it seemed strange to them to get into the plant territory without a pass. Silver-haired visitors vividly communicated and took pictures in separate groups and by the whole group near the administration building.

The Museum of History of PJSC “AutoKrAZ” met the visitors by interesting tour and opportunity to plunge into the past, remember colleagues and plant. Veterans could not take their eyes off stands, looked at mockup models of trucks, photo albums, exhibits.

A breathtaking show was prepared for honored visitors on the company’s proving ground: KrAZ off road vehicle demonstrated its excellent capabilities and off road ability. This show has taken away the breath of veterans who have seen it for the first time ever, their faces were happy when the truck in which every one of the visitors had his hand easily ran over obstacles.

Training Centre gave them joy to see stat-of-the-art equipment and to “steer” the vehicle being at the wheel of simulator, they also watched the film about today’s plant and its new products. 

After the tour veterans have been invited to have dinner with specialty of KrAZ cooks, huge pie.

After all, veterans esteemed at the company thanked for warm hospitality and opportunity to visit their plant, care and attention to them – those who gave almost all their lives to KrAZ.
