Kremenchug Automobile Plant has produced over UAH 13m worth of spare parts for the two first months of this year, up 43 percent as compared to the same period of the previous year. Lion’s share of spare parts is intended to be exported under foreign trade contracts.

In February 30 vehicles rolled off the main assembly line of the company. Chassis cabs account for 60 percent of the total amount, platform trucks for 20 percent, truck tractors for 17 percent and dump trucks for 3 percent. 40 percent of vehicles are intended for sale to Ukrainian customers, while the rest is to be exported.

For a number of reasons beyond the company’s control, primarily due to delays in supplies of imported components and force majeure affecting customers the plant could not reach targets in February. “AutoKrAZ” intends to make up for lost time in next months to meet planned figures of the year. Despite economic troubles the company is committed to fulfill its social obligations undertaken previously, continue social projects launched, upgrade of equipment and manufacturing process improvement.

Creation of the KrAZ-5401С2 4х2 maneuverable light dump truck for use in urban cycle was a very important achievement of this month. This vehicle is currently on display at the Construction Machinery Exhibition in Kiev. On top of everything else, intensive efforts were taken in February to reduce production costs, improve quality of products and operating performance.
