Another group of foreign mechanics completed its training at “AutoKrAZ” held under the contract signed in the beginning of the year.

The program of training for foreign technicians included theoretical and practical lessons. Trainees have been taught to drive, operate, maintain and repair KrAZ special vehicles.

Theoretical lessons have been given by technicians of “AutoKrAZ” in the company’s Training Centre provided with state-of-the-art equipment. Cutaway units of KrAZ mass produced vehicles and mockup of the KrAZ-6322 off road vehicle were used for training. Practical lessons took place in assembly workshops and proving ground of the automobile plant.  

Upon successful completion of their training, foreign mechanics have been awarded certificates. Before their departure they thanked for high level of and quality of training and praised state-of-the-art equipment of the Training Centre, unique training equipment and teaching aids.    

It should be noted that in 2015 about 100 foreign technicians had their training in the Training Centre of “AutoKrAZ”. Such practices of training for customer’s technicians helped avoid unjustified claims arising usually due to misuse and improper maintenance of KrAZ trucks. 

Except training for foreign technicians this Training Centre is used for giving training to the company’s own staff, annually about UAH 1m is invested in it.    Moreover, the Training Centre provides upgrading of skills for engineers and workers, retraining for workers for assignment of higher qualification category. The total number of workers who had training in the company’s Training Centre in 2015 amounts to 994 persons, the number of managers, technicians and employees who upgraded their skills amounts to 382 persons, including 264 engineers, another 78 engineers have been assigned higher qualification categories. 124 workers have been trained, 93 persons have been trained for new jobs, 195 persons have been assigned higher qualification category for staffing purposes.

What is more, last year 138 students of higher education institutions and about 300 students of vocational schools had their practical training at Kremenchug Automobile Plant.
