Military KrAZ trucks along with other state-of-the-art national equipment and weapons have gone on display on occasion of Defender of Ukraine Day in two important cities at once – in Kiev, capital of Ukraine and Poltava, capital of the region.
The exhibition of military vehicles and equipment Power of Unconquerable was deployed on October 14-18 on Mikhailovskaya square in the centre of Kiev. Quantity of exhibits on display by “AutoKrAZ” was the biggest one. Numerous visitors could see not only mass-produced KrAZ trucks in service with the Armed Forces of Ukraine the KrAZ-6322 and the KrAZ-5322 off road trucks and armored vehicles used by various units of defence enforcement agencies of Ukraine such as KrAZ-Shrek, KrAZ-Spartan and KrAZ-Cougar but also newly designed armored three-axle vehicle KrAZ-Fiona.
President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko said in his speech at exhibition opening: "This exhibition shows what has been done for the last year and a half. What we could do together, all the Ukrainians, all the unified people of Ukraine. Combatants, volunteers, workers and engineers of defence industry, diplomats and even public officers. We could create modern, efficient and patriotic army in a little more than a year due to our joint efforts. We made our defence companies to work three shifts seven days a week amidst severe economic crisis produced by the war ".
The president accompanied by Secretary of Security Council Mr.Turchinov, Mayor of Kiev Mr.Klichko and other national and foreign ministers and officials could see sophisticated weaponry exhibited. He also saw exhibits showcased by “AutoKrAZ” giving a high mark to new stat-of-the-art armored vehicles capable to resist to any aggressor. The exhibition will be opened until the 18th of October, anybody who wants can come and see the power of Ukraine.
A similar exhibition of military vehicles and small arms was organized in Poltava on occasion of Defender of Ukraine Day. Vehicles, which are in service wit the Army of Ukraine and newly designed vehicles to be in service soon stood in line near Gogol Theater. Three of seven vehicles built by national and foreign manufacturers were KrAZ vehicles.
Both events were attended by many people, anybody who wanted could not only take pictures of vehicles but also to climb up get inside vehicles. Children were especially enthusiastic and curious, KrAZ vehicles literally smothered in children who surrounded them and climbed up.
KrAZ is proud to present the power together with Ukrainian patriots that is capable to resist to enemy, protect lives of combatants and integrity of our country. Glory to Ukraine!
