A large group of participants of Interregional Scientific Meeting of Otolaryngologists of Kharkov, Cherkassy, Poltava and Kirovograd regions visited “AutoKrAZ” on 12th of June.
General Director Mr. Roman Chernyak in his welcome speech said that Kremenchug was an industrial town where the largest companies of Poltava region and Ukraine such as RailwayCarBuilding plant, Wheel Plant, Oil refinery and, of course, KrAZ, highlight of Kremenchug are headquartered. He told about the history of the automobile plant, which will celebrate its 70th anniversary in August, products manufactured by the company, answered to questions from the meeting delegates.
After completion of the meeting that was held in KrAZ boardroom the delegates had a look at Kremenchug Automobile Plant and its products. Demonstration of capabilities of military vehicles at the company‘s proving ground was an impressive event for those present. Visitors watched the KrAZ-5233 and the KrAZ-322 trucks, KrAZ-Spartan and KrAZ-Cougar armored vehicles passing obstacle course with undisguised amazement, admiration and pride. Upon completion of courses the visitors impressed by excellent mobility of vehicles over obstacles and their ruggedness applauded loudly vehicles and skills of test drivers. They thanked KrAZ for hospitality and products famous far beyond Kremenchug and Ukraine.
