“Foreign Trade Firm “KrAZ” celebrates its 24th anniversary today, on the first of April. The firm was established in 1991 to optimize its business operations in foreign markets and concentrate KrAZ’s export activity within one company.
Over 12 000 KrAZ trucks have been exported to over 55 countries of the world throughout the company’s existence. KrAZ off road trucks work in Egypt, China, India, Vietnam, UAE, Peru, Afghanistan, Congo, Columbia, Yemen, Iraq, Indonesia, Nigeria, Laos, Thailand and many other countries on all the continents of our planet.
The largest deliveries have taken place due to intensive efforts of “FTF “KrAZ”. The contract worth over USD 110m for delivery of KrAZ trucks for the new army of Iraq (2004-2006) has been one of the most important and biggest contracts of “FTF “KrAZ” for Kremenchug Automobile Plant and Ukraine at large. About 2300 platform trucks, refuellers, workshop trucks and special trailers have been delivered to this country as part of Postwar Revival Program.
Direct supplies of KrAZ trucks to UNO have been made for the first time ever in the history of Kremenchug Automobile Plant, KrAZ vehicles were in service with UN peacekeeping missions in Iraq, Sudan, Yugoslavia and Sierra Leone. Different versions of KrAZ armored vehicles have been built in partnership with foreign companies due to vigorous activity of “FTF “KrAZ”’s specialists, today these vehicles are used by defenders of the Motherland who perform their duty to protect sovereignty and independence of Ukraine.
