“AutoKrAZ” built the FPV-14224 special all-terrain buses under the contract awarded through tender won in May of this year. The vehicles consist of the KrAZ-5233HE 4x4 and body made by PJSC “Neftekhimavtomatika” (Poltava).

Special vehicles are used for carrying teams consisting of 24 persons. The all-terrain buses are provided with the YaMZ-65861 V-engine (Еuro-4) rated at 330 hp and Webasto starting preheater.

The body made of metal is heat-insulated, has two doors on the right side, passenger and emergency doors. The body is provided with two heating systems: working system driven by  the “Plenard-4D” self-contained air heater  and emergency system driven by  engine cooling system with two 12 kW heaters and two vents.

Today the all-terrain buses are being prepared for shipment to customer.

KrAZ won another tender for delivery of two units of the FPV-14224 special all-terrain bus offering comfortable environment. Under the contract entered into with Severniy Mining and Concentrating Company the body made by “Neftekhimavtomatika” will be mounted on the chassis of the KrAZ-5233HE two-axle truck 4x2. Number of seats: 26+2.

Except equipment similar to that on built all-terrain buses the second batch of vehicles will be provided with options ensuring better comfort for teams carried. 

On completion of tender procedures, KrAZ will start manufacturing the above-mentioned vehicles.
