At PJSC AvtoKrAZ, the auditors of the German certification body DEKRA for management systems has conducted the first supervisory audit of the quality management system (QMS) in accordance with the requirements of IATF 16949:2016 “Fundamental requirements for a quality management system for the production of the automotive industry and organizations manufacturing the corresponding service parts”. The purpose of the implementation of the IATF 16949: 2016 standard is to prevent defects, reduce variations and losses in the supply chain.
At the final meeting, the auditors noted a significant improvement in the efficiency and effectiveness of the QMS processes that occurred during the year - since July 2018.
During the surveillance audit, process owners and representatives of most structural units of the enterprise were involved to verify the functioning of all management processes, client-oriented processes of the system and several supporting processes. The auditors carefully checked the documentation that is issued during the implementation of the system processes, found confirmation of the effective and efficient functioning of the QMS processes, checked the products during the manufacturing production cycle, in warehouses, etc. According to the conclusions of the audit team the AvtoKrAZ is confidently moving along the path of developing a quality management system and improving product quality.
It is necessary to remind that AvtoKrAZ had received a certificate with IATF No. 0342914 confirming the QMS compliance with the requirements of IATF 16949: 2016 in November 2018. A new stage in development of the quality management system of PJSC AvtoKrAZ put a positive impact on improving the quality of the company's products and customer satisfaction.
Indeed, the compliance of the QMS of the enterprise with the requirements of the IATF 16949: 2016 standard allows to speak the language of the global automotive industry and maintain KrAZ’s position as a reliable automaker.
