Kremenchug Automobile Plant has shipped today 25 tonne КС-55713 crane to Poltava Mining and Concentrating Company. The first crane of two units ordered by regular customer and long-term partner of “KrAZ” will soon start doing its job in service with the company.

Base chassis crane is mounted on is the 6х4 KrAZ-65053 conventional mass production chassis. Three-seat standard cab has safety belts for driver and passengers. It is provided with A/C unit for comfort of work. Inline turbocharged engine rated at 375hp meets Euro-5 emission standard.  Other features include manual transmission and brake system with ABS.

Crane unit is provided with four-section telescopic boom with maximum load moment of 80 t.m. Boom length is up to 30 m, the same is the hook lifting height, maximum boom reach:  27 m, area of operation: 3600.

For safe operation the crane truck is provided with overload limiter, data logger (black box), overvoltage protection device, the ОНК-160С safety device, and limit switches.

On the plus side, users benefit from high bearing capacity, excellent off road ability, fuel efficiency, simple and reliable design and high hoist capacity of KrAZ-mounted cranes. Conventional cab of KrAZ trucks provides easy access to engine for maintenance with boom folded and lowered to transport position and easier securing of hook at the front of the vehicle. When doing maintenance works, there is no need in pulling the boom sideways, thus providing additional comfort to crane driver.  

The second unit ordered by Poltava Mining and Concentrating Company, similar truck-mounted crane, is scheduled to go to miners at the end of the next month.
