New garbage truck based on the KrAZ-6511Н4 with interchangeable containers of own production has been made at “AutoKrAZ” for Kremenchug КАТP1628. The special vehicle will be used for loading, carrying and dumping municipal solid and bulky construction waste as well as for carrying interchangeable bodies for different purposes. Cabover design provides easier maneuverability for efficient use in urban environment.
Special equipment includes Multilift hook lifter with hydraulic crane. Interchangeable body is dump metal container with rear tailgate.
For more efficient waste collection and time saving the garbage truck has tow 26 cu.m. containers. For reliable securing of body 15 tonne hook loader has rear hydraulic locks in the body.
Crane control post has guards and slew limiter for operator safety. Steps are provided for comfortable and safe climbing to control post.
To collect containers with solid domestic waste the crane has thee hydraulic extension sections with maximum boom reach of 10 m and lifting capacity of 1570 kg at maximum reach.
Additional equipment of garbage truck includes interchangeable 0,45 cu.m. clamp hook used for removal of illegal dumping. For better efficiency width of clamp hook is 1390 mm.
The special vehicle has been built under the contract awarded through bid announced by Poltava Regional Public Administration Housing and Utilities Department for supply of a batch of municipal vehicles such as read and side loader garbage trucks, sewage suction and sewer flusher trucks to Kremenchug, Gorishni Plavni and Gadyach. This is the first ever collaboration in today’s history of KrAZ between Poltava Regional Public Administration and Kremenchug Automobile Plant for providing the region with new special vehicles using public funds. It is for the benefit for both customer and manufacturer because of utilization of the automobile plant capacities and reduction of social tension in the region, revenues to various budgets, operation of Poltava region and Ukraine’s companies involved in order fulfillment for Regional Public Administration, while Poltava region towns will get new multipurpose vehicles that will make them clean.
