The 20 cu.m. ATZ-20 vehicle has been added to lineup of KrAZ-based refuellers. Equipment is mounted on one of the most popular KrAZ models, which has no equal off road, the 6х6 KrAZ-63221 cab chassis truck powered with 375hp diesel engine meeting Euro-5. Except standard equipment, the engine is provided with starting preheater, brake system has ABS, the cab is equipped with A/C unit and seat belts in compliance with customer’s specification. Length from back of cab to end of frame has been increased to 7460 mm.

The tank truck is used for carrying light oils on public roads and off road and for use as temporary storage. Single-compartment tank produced by Ukrainian company Everlast (Odessa) is made from light alloy steel. The tank is top loaded through filler neck, draining is made using gravity and pump unit, measured fuel dispensing using dispensing unit.

A contractor of “AutoKrAZ’ ordered this refueller for one of its mining and concentrating companies where the ATZ-20 will be used for providing its fleet with fuel.  8, 10, 12 and 15 cu.m. tanks for drinking and industrial water and oil products were mounted on the KrAZ chassis earlier. The company that placed an order on this special vehicle and manufacturer of superstructure note that the KrAZ-63221 domestic powerful cab chassis has been chosen for completion as a finished vehicle due to KrAZ strong frame using side members made from hot-rolled bars.  Special equipment mounted on the KrAZ AWD chassis is widely used by military, miners, and gas and oil workers.

Today the АТZ-20 refueller is being prepared for shipment to customer.
