“AutoKrAZ” and“Ukrgazdobycha”, the largest operator of gas transmission system of Ukraine, work in close and long-term partnership. About 200 new KrAZ vehicles and KrAZ-based special vehicles including truck tractors, truck-mounted cranes, tank trucks, dump trucks, truck-mounted laboratories and pipe carriers were supplied to its branches in 2017. Most of them are all-wheel drive trucks, which are more suitable for use in remote areas.
Shipment of products made by “AutoKrAZ” to order of “Ukrgazdobycha” is underway. Yesterday, January 9, Kremenchug Automobile Plant completed fulfillment of the contract entered into with this contractor by shipping the КС-55713 truck-mounted crane to “Ukrgazdobycha”. The contract was awarded for production of 10 25 tonnes КС-55713 truck-mounted cranes. According to it, nine units must be based on the 6х6 KrAZ-6322 all-wheel drive chassis, while one must be based on the 6х4 KrAZ-65053 chassis provided with standard equipment and engine meeting Euro-5 emission standard. These chassis models are the most popular ones with machine building plants, oil and gas companies. They are ideal for upfitting with aftermarket superstructures including crane superstructures for heavy-duty operation under harsh working conditions of construction, oil and gas industries. KrAZ-mounted cranes have a range of advantages over its counterparts: better capacity, excellent off road ability, endurance, fuel efficiency, simple and reliable design, and increased working load. Moreover, traditional conventional cab facilitates access to engine for maintenance with boom folded and lowered for travel, ensures more simple and reliable securing of hook in the front of the vehicle. Unlike cabovers, when servicing the engine, there is no need to move the boom sideways, thus offering more comfort to driver.
Crane superstructure has been mounted by Trade Company “Truck Cranes of Ukraine”. The crane is provided with 9,7 - 21,7 m long three-section telescopic boom with operating range limitation system. Maximum hook travel is 12 m, area of operation: 3600.
Kremenchug Automobile Plant hopes for development of partnership with this contractor this year, too. Ukrainian manufacturer appreciates that national oil and gas industry prefers home-made products and places orders for various special vehicles based on KrAZ chassis to meet its needs.
KrAZ seeks to develop active partnership with other state-financed and commercial companies by manufacturing up-to-date efficient special vehicles available in various specifications, axle configurations and layouts to boost the country’s economy.
