The MEZ-330 truck-tractor combination is the joint development of AvtoKrAZ and NSC "Institute of Mechanization and Electrification of Agriculture" that passed a trial test in a pilot farm “Olenevskoye” of the NSC “IMEA”. This time the unit was unitized with a plough Hektor 1000 produced by Vogel Noot - the tractor-mounted seven-case swivel plough with operating width of 2.8 m. The performed tests provided coordination of elements of unitization of MEZ-330 and a plough, the trial of a motion diagram of the plowing unit (in a furrow or under a furrow) and determination  of the unit operating speed.

We would like to remind that the agricultural novelty MEZ-330 is installed on the KrAZ-6322 cross-country chassis with a power take-off, a hydraulic set, an additional hinge plate for a plough and other agricultural equipment. Truck-tractor combination can perform transportation and fieldwork; in particular, it can fertilize, work the soil, sow, protect crops, transport and carry out pick-and-place operations etc. The body for solid organic fertilizer distribution was mounted on the first MEZ-330 unit, which was exhibited on "Agro-2017" and received the highest award - the Gold medal.

The next test stage of MEZ-330 will be determination of traction and speed performance, the actual fuel consumption, determination of propeller slipping while plowing, optimum pressure in tires of MEZ-330 in order to get the maximum towing capacity. Now the metering equipment is installed on the truck-tractor combination to determinate traction power, fuel consumption and slipping index.
