Results of Poltava Brake Components Plant for the period January-June 2017 achieved growth in all business segments. Sales went up 36,8 percent from the same period a year ago. The company sold over UAH 74,7m worth of products, with brake components worth almost UAH 60m and consumer goods worth over UAH 13,2m (up 35 and 73 percent respectively).
Export sales still prevail and account for 73,8 percent, with export sales of brake components accounting for 81,8 percent. Deliveries to Kyrgyzstan grew significantly more than by 65 percent from the same period in the previous year, and by 43 percent to Belarus. The company shipped its products to contractors in Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Moldova and Georgia. Broadly speaking, at the end of half-year 2017 export sales grew almost by 41 percent from a year ago.
June proved very fruitful month with the best sales growth: up 40 percent from the previous June and up 11 percent from May. Totally, the growth of sales for the second quarter is also significant, up 54 percent from the second quarter of 2016, with growth of sales of brake components by 56 percent and consumer goods by 63 percent. Total sales figures went up 39 percent from the first quarter of 2017, with growth of sales of brake components by 34 percent, consumer goods by 74 percent.
