A year after premature death of Kremenchug mayor Oleg Babayev who was murdered July 26 2014 we pay tribute to the memory of this legendary person.

Oleg Babayev is the best remembered for his love to Kremenchug, its residents, he was a true patriot of his town and tried to do the best for development and prosperity of Kremenchug and better life of its residents. This was a professional through and through, Manager with sharpened sense of responsibility and duty, undoubted leader.

He will survive in memory of “AutoKrAZ” staff as the first ever mayor, who built teamwork between city authorities and company, which resulted in addition of state-of-the-art KrAZ vehicles to municipal fleet. This is due to this close collaboration that   our Kremenchug has become, and remains clean.

His visits to Kremenchug Automobile Plant have always been significant events. KrAZ staff remembers him as open, kind and attentive to everything related to the company, town and its residents. He used to rejoice at success of the automobile plant, welcome all novelties made at KrAZ, supported the company both in word and deed.

A year without Oleg Babayev is a year of continuation of his glorious deeds. Late March “AutoKrAZ” and “Kremenchugmyaso” were major sponsors of popular football championship “Cup of Mayor” launched in 2010 at the initiative of Oleg Babayev, since this year it bears his name. Kremenchug Automobile Plant will not leave behind not only football but also other projects of Kremenchug mayor. We cherish your memory, Oleg Babayev! Your memory will always dwell within hearts of those who knew and worked with you.
