A large delegation of representatives of Kiev Association of Defense Attach?s (KADA) accredited in Ukraine came to see Kremenchug Automobile Plant on the 7th of July during their working visit. The visit of military diplomatic delegation to Kremenchug and KrAZ has been arranged by the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine and local authorities. According to visit organizers such business trips are aimed to increase credibility of defense industry companies of Ukraine, give to KAMA members an idea of Ukrainian industry potential for development of future cooperation, promote trade relations et develop cooperation. KrAZ has been planned for visit as Ukrainian defense industrial company renowned abroad with good development prospects.
The delegation included defense attach?s of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, Islamic Republic of Iran, Republic of Kazakhstan, Republic of Korea, Republic of Lithuania, Italy, People’s Republic of China, US air attach? and his assistant, Hungary assistant defense attach? and Assistant Director, Department of International Defense Cooperation of Ukraine.
The visit of military officials to KrAZ started in the company’s training Centre where they watched promotional film about the company and its products. Officers visited proving ground, had a look at KrAZ armored vehicles lineup and mass-produced military AWD vehicles in service with the Army of Ukraine and many armies worldwide and watched demonstration course of the KrAZ-5233BE Spetsnaz 4х4 and the KrAZ-6322 Soldier 6х6 trucks at the company’s proving ground.
After seeing off road performance of KrAZ trucks on the proving ground course the visitors thanked KrAZ team for warm welcome and told about their impressions. Colonel Mr. Wan Suechuan said in the interview: “Ukraine has very strong industrial potential. Kremenchug along with Zhaporozhye and Dnepropetrovsk is powerful industrial centre. Kremenchug Automobile Plant and KrAZ trucks also show strong potential. I have positive impressions of what I have seen and can give a high mark to KrAZ.
We saw today a huge KrAZ truck, which impressed all of us to say the least of it. I’m a military man and can say that KrAZ is very strong vehicle. In addition, KrAZ manufactures the whole range of vehicles suitable for use both in the frontline and back areas. In my opinion, KrAZ has a future.”
