New KrAZ Vehicles Unveiled at IDEX-2015!

The International Defense Exhibition IDEX-2015 where two new armored vehicles built by KrAZ and Streit Group (Canada-UAE) went on display opened its doors on February 22 in Abu-Dhabi (UAE). The vehicles on display are the KrAZ-Feona three-axle armored vehicle based on the 6х6 KrAZ-6322 all-terrain chassis and the KrAZ-Hurricane four-axle armored vehicle based on the 8х8 KrAZ-7634НЕ engine-behind-cab chassis. Both vehicles are provided with Allison automatic transmission, ballistic protection meets Stanag 4569 Level 2.

New armored vehicles had successful debut. KrAZ-Hurricane and KrAZ-Feona have been exhibited outdoors and drove every day an off-road demonstration course at the exhibition proving ground. Spectators, namely law enforcement agency officials from all over the world, sheiks, generalship of various world armies, all these people who know much about weapons, met the armored vehicles with enthusiasm. Their opinion is that these vehicles are well-timed and promising, their performance is excellent.

Except new vehicles the exhibition attendees could see another three armored vehicles in the National Exhibition Centre in Abu-Dhabi: RCV (Route Clearance Vehicle) version of the KrAZ-MPV Shrek One,  KrAZ-Spartan and KrAZ-Cougar. The stand of partners has been visited by a huge number of delegations, the first days of the exhibition a series of negotiations with prospective buyers took place.

On the 24th of February the stand of KrAZ and Streit companies was attended by the delegation of Ukrainian officials and diplomatic corps headed by the president of Ukraine Poroshenko. Ukrainian Canadian armored vehicles got high marks from Pyotr Poroshenko who expressed his satisfaction with intensive efforts taken by “AutoKrAZ” to expand lineup of military armored vehicles.

The first days of the exhibition confirmed expectations of manufacturers that this armored vehicle will be in demand with military men and peacemakers all over the world.
