As part of his working trip Mr.Sergey Bochkovskiy, Head of Public Service for Emergencies of Ukraine, visited PJSC “AutoKrAZ” on 15 January. He was accompanied by Brigadier General Ruslan Biloshitskiy, Director, Material Support Department, PSE, and Colonel Roman Kirilenko, Head of Main Directorate of PSE of Ukraine. The purpose of this visit was to learn about the company and its products. It is the first visit of the head of this organization to the company in the history of “KrAZ”, new approach of new manager of PSE to cooperation with national manufacturer.
During the visit General Director Mr.Roman Chernyak gave an up-close look at state-of-the-art KrAZ vehicles that can be used for emergency response with a particular focus at the latest novelties, 6х4 and 4х2 cabover chassis suited for a variety of upfits. Beyond that, when presenting the KrAZ Н23.2 (АC-13-70) fire tanker truck built in partnership with Tital, he gave a detailed account of capabilities of this national fire fighting truck, its versatility due to availability of various rescue equipment and efficient and good performance at Poltava Mining and Concentrating Company.
After having a look at the KrAZ lineup Mr.Bochkovskiy gave answers to questions asked by journalists emphasizing that he was favorably impressed and proud with high quality of national vehicles manufactured by Kremenchug Automobile Plant: “ These products are really competitive and high quality, I am very glad of good renovation prospects for fleets of rescue services particularly now in this difficult time for our country. Today I and KrAZ representatives discussed all the questions concerning development of multi-purpose special vehicle with replaceable modules that can be used for both rescue works and humanitarian missions “– he said.
Then the Head of PSE of Ukraine stressed that demand for new efficient special vehicles is very high, as 90 percent of rescue services fleet needs replacement due to worn-out state and except the above-mentioned vehicle they intend to place orders for fire fighting, rescue and other special vehicles.
Mr.Bochkovskiy confirmed that national manufacturer and national product are in top priority of Ukrainian PSE policy and KrAZ can be sure that Public Service for Emergencies would equip its fleet with national products.
