PJSC “Poltava Brake Components Plant”, long-term strategic partner of KrAZ” within 9 months of 2014 reports growth in sales by 1,8 percent up from the same period of the previous year. From January through September the company sold over UAH 73,4m worth of products, with sales of UAH 63m worth of brake components (2,5 percent up from the same period of 2013) and sales of UAH 8,8m worth of consumer goods.
Export sales within 9 months of 2014 account for 77,9 percent, with sales of brake components accounting for 85,3 percent.
Based on results achieved for the period in question deliveries to Hungary grew by 66,6 percent, to Azerbaijan by 193,32 percent, to Uzbekistan by 66,2 percent, to Russian Federation by 9,4 percent. Deliveries to Kazakhstan, Belarus, Lithuania and Kirgizia tend to be more stable for this period. The company shipped its products to Romania, Georgia and Vietnam.
It should be mentioned that the third trimester of 2014 is the most efficient and as compared to two previous trimesters. Sales grew 88 percent as compared to the first trimester of this year, with sales of brake components of 66 percent and consumer goods of 334 percent. As compared to the second trimester, sales grew by 34 percent, with sales of brake components of 20 percent and consumer goods of 153 percent. As compared to the third trimester of 2013, PAAZ also saw increase in sales in 2014. Total sales, sales of brake components and consumer goods grew by 24 percent, 23 percent and 32 percent respectively.
Currently efforts are underway to extend the company’s reach, improve quality of products and reduce cost.
