Poltava City Council awarded to “AutoKrAZ” a contract for delivery of the KrAZ K12.2 road maintenance vehicle for “Poltava Road Maintenance Section”.

The KrAZ К12.2 street sweeper is designed to clean urban streets, public parking lots, large public and industrial sites, highways, spouting chutes and catch basins.

Special equipment is mounted on the KrAZ Н12.2М 4х2 cabover chassis. Powered by the YaMZ-53622 engine (Euro-4) rated at 240hp is provided with the MFZ 430 single disk clutch, the 9JS119ТА transmission and ergonomic hoodless cab.

Sweeping equipment to be mounted on this two-axle chassis cab is made by KATMERCILER, leading Turkish manufacturer of road maintenance equipment. It includes 6 cu.m. hopper for receiving debris, 1500 l water tank, suction nozzles (right and left), two side brooms (right and left), hydraulic main broom and sprinkling system. Sweeping equipment is driven hydraulically from an independent engine delivering 85kW. Equipment operation is controlled remotely using in-cab control panel that allows for setting parameters and controlling major systems.   

It will be recalled that KrAZ municipal vehicles, such as garbage trucks, street sweepers and multipurpose road maintenance vehicles, delivered to КТП №1628, Kremenchug, delivered under contracts awarded through competitive bidding process, ensure clean and tidy environment in the town within two years.  Among advantages of national municipal cabover vehicles, operators mention excellent maneuverability and high performance.

In compliance with tender conditions delivery of the KrAZ K12.2 street sweeper to “Poltava Road Maintenance Section” is scheduled for late September of this year.
