Representatives of NJSC “Naftogaz of Ukraine” Visit “AutoKrAZ”

“AutoKrAZ” and NJSC “Naftogaz of Ukraine” have long lasting and close partnership.  National oil and gas industry prefers domestic product and places orders for various special vehicles based on KrAZ chassis to meet its needs such as truck tractors, crane trucks, tank trucks, dump trucks, laboratories, pipe carriers, earth movers, concrete trucks.

The delegation that came to “AutoKrAZ” included heads of transportation units of JSC “Ukrgazdobycha”, JSC “Ukrnafta”, JSC “Ukrtransgaz” , SJSC “Chernomornefetgaz”,  JSC “Ukrtransnafta”, SE “Gaz Ukraiiny”, fleets of these companies mostly consist of trucks made by domestic manufacturer.

The company’s visit started from the history museum. The visitors viewed exhibits with interest, asked about landmarks in the company’s history, its development, and specifications of separate models and asked if they could buy mock-up models. No one was indifferent when checking out the lineup including Fiona, Shrek, Hulk, KrAZ-5401Н2-based road maintenance vehicle and other vehicles. The visit of carriers pertained to partnership development, therefore, they discussed together with the company’s technicians such issues as design features, layout, engine performance comparison, possible manufacture of cabs for cabover trucks in the company’s facilities.

According to visitors they appreciate KrAZ trucks for excellent off road ability in harsh environment, options aimed at improving personnel safety and comfort, reliability, strength the vehicles feature when tackling their jobs in oil and gas industry.  

Abilities of KrAZ vehicles have been demonstrated to the visitors at the company’s proving ground. KrAZ-Shrek, KrAZ-Fiona, KrAZ-Cougar, KrAZ-Spartan and the KrAZ-6322 trucks overcame various obstacles during demonstration run. “Excellent vehicles”, - that was a unanimous opinion of carriers during the run.

 Delegation members thanked for information provided, varied program of their visit and expressed hope for further development of partnership and collaboration.
