At invitation of NJSC “Naftogaz of Ukraine”, “AutoKrAZ” participated at Interntaional Conference Oil and Gas Industry of Ukraine: Challenges and Opportunities. This event has been a platform for discussion of a series of issues, including stance of existing suppliers on partnership with NJSC “Naftogaz of Ukraine” and various aspects of further partnership. General Director Roman Chernyak was among speakers at the conference. In his talk he emphasized that domestic manufacturer appreciates that national oil and gas industry prefers Ukraine-made products and places orders for KrAZ-based special vehicles.
In 2017 about 200 new KrAZ vehicles and special vehicles based on its chassis including AWD truck tractors, crane trucks, pipe carriers, dump trucks, laboratories and all-terrain buses were supplied to business units of “Ukrgazdobycha”.
According to him, all the vehicles ordered by “Ukrgazdobycha” last few years are unique or custom-made vehicles with options aimed at safety and comfort of operating personnel. Thus, dump trucks and truck tractors are equipped with tachographs, additional sleepers, A/C units, safety belts, etc. Special box trucks for various uses are mobile houses with all necessary equipment for work and everyday items for comfort of mechanics and drivers during their trip to remote areas.
As a result of partnership with “Naftogaz” Mr.Chernyak noted that each won bidding announced by “Ukrgazdobycha” stimulates production of special equipment manufacturers such as “Nefteavtomatika”, “Lvov Experimental Mechanical Plant”, “Autocranes Ukraine”. In 2018 total cost of special equipment amounted to UAH 106,6m. Moreover, companies of group “KrAZ” and 520 Ukrainian companies supplying materials and components operate at their capacity. Suppliers will supply over UAH 60m of components in 2018 to fulfill contracts entered into with “Ukrgazdobycha”. What is more, these are jobs for about 3000 employees of “AutoKrAZ” and 1500 employees of group “KrAZ”and taxes paid to national budget. Total taxes paid by “KrAZ” to national budget as VAT and unified social tax under contracts with “Ukrgazdobycha” will amount to UAH 24m in 2018. Let alone taxes paid by over 200 Ukrainian factories supplying their products to “KrAZ”. We can say for sure that orders placed by “Ukrgazdobycha” with “KrAZ” have significant social value and reduce social tensions in our country.
General Director of “KrAZ” emphasized at the end of his speech that he highly appreciates key Ukrainian producer of natural gas and gas liquid “Ukrgazdobycha” supports domestic manufacturer by actions and placing orders and not just talking about it, boosts development of the company and economy of our country.
