80^th anniversary of Nikolay Shotov, Ex-Deputy Head of Quality Control Department celebrated on 17^th of April coincided with anniversary of the start of automobile production. Formalities were traditionally held in the company’s museum. Ex-colleagues from Quality Control Department, friends from other departments came to congratulate the hero of the day on occasion of this event in his life.

Nikolay Shotov heard plenty of warm words from those present. They wished him good health, good spirits, well-being, prosperity, inspiration and indefatigability, may family warmth, gratitude and respect accompany you on the long road of life.

Traditional presents for the hero of the day included round loaf made by the company’s bakers, monetary remuneration, flowers and name-engraved medal made in tool room. Performance of the company’s amateur group has been a pleasant surprise for him.

Nikolay Shotov was deeply moved by such an attention to him and thanked sincerely the automobile plant workers, recalled the days when he worked at the plant:

- I hail from Smolensk, moved to Ukraine after meeting my wife-to-be  and stayed here. I graduated from Kharkov Automobile and Highway Institute with degree in Vehicle Operation, in 1965 I went to work to “KrAZ”. I have worked at “KrAZ” for 47 years, all my life and youth. I am deeply concerned about the plant, it is dear and close to me, concerned about the current generation of the automobile plant workers, I always take interest in state of things, meet my ex-colleagues. 

In my turn, I would like to congratulate the automobile plant workers on occasion of big day, 60^th anniversary of truck-making industry in Ukraine and company! Switch to production of trucks instead of harvesters took place before me but I came in the period Kremenchug plant establishment, its growth and development was in parallel with my own professional advancement. I wish prosperity to the automobile plant!! May our town and Ukraine be proud of it as in the period of its flourishing, may it become automobile giant, up-to-date and prestigious place of employment, may youth and high potential staff come to work to the plant and get decent salary! I believe my dreams will come true!
