Automobile plant workers, past and present generations, know him well. Production worker to fingertips, he made great strides from the lowest possible starting point to Deputy General Director, Director for Production, while holding this position he made a great contribution to development of Kremenchug Automobile Plant.

Today, February 15, he celebrates his 70^th anniversary.  By tradition, all those who came to congratulate former Deputy General Director for Production Vladimir Kozinets, veteran of “KrAZ”, “Honored Machine Builder of Ukraine” awarded Third Degree Medal of Merit, gathered in the company’s history museum.  The workshop and trade union colleagues, friends and veterans greeted the hero of the day with songs at the entrance to the museum. Commemorative medal cast in the foundry bears inscription on the reverse face: “Hold on until 100”, taken up by colleagues “as main conveyor holds on”. “Responsible, brainy man. His world has always been a law. He has worked with letup all his life not sparing himself. Today he looks fresh because he has got away from turmoil typical for production process“, - said his successor, colleague and friend Dzhemal Bolkvadze. There were lots of congratulations and all of them were frank, sincere and exciting. Vladimir Kozinets sincerely thanked all those present and said: “I am glad to see you again. I wish you health and wealth and prosperity to our plant. We all gave our lives to it: some of us have already done it, while the others are still doing it drop by drop. However, we had and probably will have no other life. We have chosen our way. Generations change, you find those who remember you and you are remembered when you do something good for people”. He has worked for 40 years at “KrAZ” as many other automobile plant workers but his significant contribution to production of KrAZ trucks merits special gratitude. His career history includes mastering production techniques for many KrAZ models, commissioning of hundreds of thousands square metres of production facilities, implementation of new technologies, advanced types of industrial management, their automation. etc. His successors are forging the history of “KrAZ”. Wile the plant is in reliable skilled hands, it will live and develop for many years.
