76-year-old Grigoriy Gez, outstanding personality at “KrAZ” has gone to well-deserved rest.  The veteran of the plant,  veteran of labor, active innovator with over 120 innovation proposals and 4 inventions relating to advanced surface plastic deformation and cold extrusion technique. He is the first winner of the highest corporate award “Kremenchug Automobile Plant Golden Mark”, which is comparable to Badge of Honor “Honored Machine Builder of Ukraine”   in totality of preferences.  Moreover, he has a series of other remarkable awards: Certificate of Merit of the Ministry of Industrial Policy of Ukraine, 3 bronze and 1 silver medal of ENEA of Ukraine for its innovations, honorary title “Best Innovator of the Plant”, etc.  The length of his employment in Manufacturing Engineer Department is 55 years, with almost 58 years of work at the plant.

This automobile plant worker has become a legend of “KrAZ” within his lifetime, the history of establishment and development of Kremenchug Automobile Plant could be written based on his biography. Here he travelled a long way to become competent engineer, organizer, and manager by resolving issues concerning mastering production technology for KrAZ vehicles.

This time celebration was not as massive as on occasion of his 75^th anniversary past year. However, this day his friends, colleagues and apprentices gathered together in comfortable surroundings of Manufacturing Engineer Department.  Token unique gifts made using the company’s machinery, flowers, cordial words of welcome, heartwarming memories of important joint events and many other things filled up the last day of work of well-liked manufacturing engineer at the plant. Grigoriy Gez joked, he was agreeably surprised and touched by the number of people that came to express their heartfelt thanks to him, he thanked for attention and respects paid to him.  

We can say for sure that long service of this manufacturing engineer has been put into KrAZ vehicles operated worldwide.  We wish to Grigoriy Gez many happy returns of the day, good health, and confidence that his apprentices will step into his shoes and develop new technologies to build new KrAZ vehicles.
