According to yesterday’s overview of “Kievavtodor” upgraded winter service fleet, Kiev has been prepared for potential snow. An information about this event has been posted on Facebook by the city mayor Vitaliy Klichko.

When Kiev mayor checked out new vehicles purchased by “Kievavtodor” late last year including two new KrAZ recovery vehicles based on KrAZ all-wheel drive chassis. It should be recalled that the KrAZ-6322 vehicles have been recently added to the fleet of “Kievavtodor”. They have been made by “AutoKrAZ” in compliance with conditions of bid won by the automobile plant late November of last year announced by “Kievavtodor” utilities corporation. The buyer has been satisfied with timely and proper order fulfillment given that delivery despite tight delivery date, 10 calendar days from the date of signing the contract.

After checking out the vehicles, Vitaliy Klichko said that “Kievavtodor” has special winter service vehicles both new and thoroughly repaired for response to snowstorm. “Late last year “Kievavtodor” acquired 32 new special vehicles including recovery vehicles KrAZ, which in case of emergency will be able to clear snow and release trapped public service and heavy-duty vehicles blocking the flow of traffic and creating traffic jams”, – said Kiev mayor.
