Late last week the International Agroindustrial Exhibition AgroExpo 2017, where “AutoKrAZ” displayed its vehicles, closed its doors. The event was held in Kropivnitskiy: domestic and foreign companies exhibited their products outdoors in exhibit space of 100 000 m2.
Domestic manufacturer Kremenchug Automobile Plant presented to agrarians two new vehicles: the KrAZ-6511Н2 chassis cab truck with SAF Holland third lift axle and dry feed loader based on the KrAZ-5401Н2 chassis.
It should be noted that the KrAZ-5401 vehicle with the ЗСК-Ф-15 special equine this a pilot project of “Nezhinsilmash” and “AutoKrAZ”. The special vehicle is used for carrying and loading feed into hoppers of poultry and livestock farms. It can be used for bulk transportation of grain, combined and pelleted feed.
It is based on the KrAZ-5401 4х2 multipurpose chassis cab truck offering maximum commonality and adapted to various power plants and superstructures. The engine rated at 312 hp meets Euro 5, it is coupled with manual double-range transmission. At customer’s request, this vehicle is available with other power plant, cab and superstructure. The superstructure includes 11 cu.m. 4-section hopper, 3- and 5-section 8 cu.m. and 13,75 cu.m. respectively are available as options.
The second vehicle on display is a new unique KrAZ-6511Н2 (6х2) chassis cab with payload of 18 tonnes used for conversion to vehicle provided with industrial equipment for use on hard-surfaced roads.
The vehicle is provided with 300 horsepower engine meeting Euro-5, the 9JS150ТА-В 9-speed transmission, bonnetless cab offering comfortable working environment, integral power steering. It differs from previous models by third lift axle. Axle beam is tubular, the axle is automatically raised off the ground when empty. Rear lift axle suspension is air-operated with two hydraulic shock absorbers. Rear lift axle is used to reduce fuel consumption and tire wear when the vehicle is empty. After loading the axle lowers automatically and the vehicle is used as three-axle models. Lift axle has air suspension with two hydraulic shock absorbers.
Agrarians checked out and assessed the novelties and made suggestions. Throughout the exhibition KrAZ representatives met potential buyers, discussed many issues concerning cooperation of Ukrainian manufacturer of vehicles with Ukrainian agrarians, established contacts, determine common tasks and their solutions for key branches of our country.
