“AutoKrAZ” started shipping a batch of the КrАZ-63221 6х6 workshop trucks to its foreign customer. The vehicles have been made in compliance with contract under which workshop trucks should be based on off road 6x6 chassis provided with special van.
This truck is provided with all the necessary things for efficient performance in the field, driving over rugged terrain, off road, and in low and high temperatures. Special vehicle owes its excellent off road abilities, reliability and strength to the KrAZ-63221 off road chassis, the most popular in its category. In accordance with the contract the vehicle comes in standard version with power pack meeting Euro 5 and manual transmission, starting preheater.
Domestic-made van is provided with up-to-date equipment and tools required for various repair and maintenance works as well as for comfortable accommodation of repair team in case of repair works far from populated areas. It is divided into passenger, power and equipment compartment. Passenger compartment has four sleeping berths similar to those used in railway cars, folding table, wardrobes. Tilt and turn plastic window ensures excellent illumination and airing, while ventilation hatch provides fresh air intake and can be used as emergency exit.
Power compartment has rack for welding cables and other auxiliary equipment, welding machine exhaust system. Equipment compartment is provided with tool bench, bench drill and grinder, kit of various tools, and three-phase diesel generator.
Prior to shipment the special vehicles have been carefully inspected by a group of customer’s representatives. After the inspection one inspector said that KrAZ trucks represent 50 percent of their fleet, most of them are off road special vehicles: crane trucks, vacuum trucks, drop side trucks and truck tractors. “I am very glad that our partnership with Ukrainian manufacturer KrAZ is developing, in summer we got a new AWD custom-built dump truck with sleeper cab, we plan to purchase another batch of vehicles. КrАZ is the best vehicle we always prefer. Facilities we maintain are mostly in hard-to-reach areas, with distance range over 2000 km. For this reason we need off road ability, reliability and better repairability. КрАZ vehicle has all these properties to the fullest extent. What is more, this vehicle is not only reliable but also simple: we face no unforeseeable troubles. As half of out fleet is represented by KrAZ vehicles it is easier to maintain them, its another advantage is affordable service and prompt feedback from the automobile plant.
