Expanding its lineup of cabovers, “AutoKrAZ” has built a new KrAZ-5401С2 4х2 dump truck. Implementing this project KrAZ hopes to fill the gap in the lineup and steal competitive advantage from foreign light vehicles.

The KrAZ-5401С2 dump truck has an excellent maneuvering ability due to use of hoodless cab: minimum turning radius is about 7,5 m. Maneuvering in tight spaces at construction sites and urban environment will be easier for this two-axle dump truck. Payload capacity is up to 10 tonnes despite overall dimensions of 6330х2500х2960, which are not big as compared to those of conventional trucks.

The novelty is provided with diesel inline engine rated at 335hp meeting Euro-5 emission standard, single disk clutch and 9-speed transmission.                    

Ergonomic cab featuring air-suspended seat, height and tilt adjustable steering column, functional dashboard and many other accessories designed to reduce fatigue offers comfortable environment for driver. The cab is low seated for more comfortable getting in and out of cab.

The KrAZ-5401С2 dump truck differs from vehicles of other brands with its unique 7 cu.m. box-shaped dump body with remotely controlled tailgate.  The dump body is provided with hoist featuring telescopic twin cylinder.

The new truck is an ideal solution for urban cycle. Marketing research shows that such vehicles are in demand not only in domestic market but also in foreign ones. “AutoKrAZ” plans to start fill the niche of light-duty trucks with payload capacity of 3-5 tonnes.
