Today, January 14, representatives of Service of automobile roads in Poltava region headed by Mr.Vladimir Troyanovskiy rendered a visit to Kremenchug Automobile Plant.
The purpose of their visit to the company was to get detailed information about lineup of KrAZ special vehicles used for road maintenance and cleaning produced by Ukrainian manufacturer of heavy-duty trucks. During their visit the representatives could see mass produced and advanced vehicles that can be outfitted with special equipment for construction, repair and maintenance of public roads.
After seeing the vehicles the visitors and the company’s managers negotiated a series of matters related to further development of cooperation between “AutoKrAZ” and Service of automobile roads in Poltava region. Before leaving, Mr.Troyanovskiy said that adding up-to-date efficient vehicles to their fleet was vital for them. Recent heavy snowfall and icy roads that brought traffic on regional roads to a virtual halt and caused dozens of road accidents once again revealed an insistent need for new vehicles added to the fleet of Service of automobile roads in Poltava region. “Today we expect that these special vehicles will be purchased this year at KrAZ through the offices of Head of Poltava Region State Administration Mr.Golovko”, - said Mr.Troyanovskiy. Currently the fleet of the Service of automobile roads in Poltava region includes about 300 special vehicles with 70 early KrAZ trucks. New models we saw today at Kremenchug Automobile Plant impressed us, the most impressive vehicle was the KrAZ-6511С4 dump truck with excellent performance capabilities. We plan to place an order for multipurpose road maintenance vehicle with sand spreading and snow clearing equipment mounted on this dump truck. We have chosen this dump truck because we plan to use this special vehicle all year round: in summer as dump truck for road building and hauling bulk commodities and in winter for road maintenance.
We also count on the leading company in Poltava region, “AutoKrAZ”, to help us in upgrade of old KrAZ vehicles that we use today. The need in up-to-date efficient vehicles is great: we need hundreds of snow removal vehicles, hot patchers, bitumen distributors, tar pavers, etc. The fleet of old special vehicles leaves something to be desired but we hope to change drastically this situation with the assistance of KrAZ to ensure traffic safety in Poltava region. We tend to purchase vehicles built by Ukrainian manufacturer. We are glad that the manufacturer takes into account our requests related to any option and is ready to customize its products to meet our needs “.
