“AutoKrAZ”, the only complete-cycle manufacturer of heavy-duty trucks in Ukraine, is the largest  budget contributor in Kremenchug,  with tax payments amounting to over UAH 74m in 2015.  Income tax paid is UAH 18 m, military levy is UAH 2m, unified social tax is UAH 54m.  

“AutoKrAZ” is still mentioned in the lists of the most socially responsible companies in Kremenchug and in Poltava region. Despite political and economic crisis in the country the company maintained the stable performance and raise wages of its employees. Since the beginning of 2015 the company managed to give a raise of 15 percent as compared to the same period of the previous year. By the end of financial year the average salary in the company was about UAH 3400 for actual hours worked during the month.

Currently Kremenchug Automobile Plant employs over 3500 permanent workers, with production staff accounting for 97 percent of the total number of employees. Throughout the year 2015 the company hired 277 young workers, 87 of them graduated from vocational schools. The average age of staff is 45 years. There were no personnel cuts in 2015, in contrast, the company kept on hiring the most-needed workers.

The company’s focus was on developing its social sphere in 2015. “AutoKrAZ” contributed UAH 5,5m to fund facilities such as foodservice center, palace of culture, residential facilities, reconstruction of the company’s museum and other things. Moreover, about UAH 1m were spent on personnel training.  

In 2016 “AutoKrAZ” plans to increase funding for social sphere to improve benefits of the automobile plant employees, ensure better working conditions and renovate social facilities.
