The first lot of КУ-2А corn harvesters was assembled in two months after the reorganization that took place in July of 1956. The total output of Kremenchug Harvester Plant within two years of its operation exceeds 14 000 units. Harvester building period played a big role when switching to production of vehicles, enabling plant reconstruction and mastering new automotive technologies in a very short time.
