1959

First Ukrainian trucks were built. These were the KrAZ-222 6х4, 10-ton Dniepr dump trucks. 

First tucks were hand-assembled, but 259,6 m long main assembly line was launched in May of 1959. The plant built first export versions of KrAZ trucks in a year since the start of production and the 25000th truck, the KrAZ-256 dump truck, rolled off the assembly line in 1963.
